Greenville, South Carolina is one of only two cities in the United States that boasts a waterfall in the middle of its downtown business district. Falls Park on the Reedy features the $4.5 million Liberty Bridge, a pedestrian suspension bridge that spans the river and serves as the focal point of Falls Park. The Liberty Bridge provides a bird’s eye view of the 26-acre public park that includes Reedy River Falls, beautiful gardens and walking trails.

Downtown Greenville, SC attractions include the Upcountry History Museum, the Museum and Library of Confederate History, and the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library adjacent to Fluor Field at the West End. Fluor Field is a 5,700-seat baseball stadium located downtown in the heart of Greenville’s West End Historic District. The home of the Greenville Drive, the South Atlantic League Class A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, Fluor Field replicates Fenway Park with its own “Green Monster” and manual scoreboard. Fluor Field also pays tribute to Greenville’s Textile League by utilizing reclaimed bricks from local textile mills.

Greenville SC attractions are not limited to downtown. The city’s Eastside features The Pavilion, a 66,000 square foot indoor recreation complex with ice and inline skating rinks, volleyball courts, and the Bounce House, a new indoor feature with 7,000 square feet of inflatables. Other Eastside attractions include Roper Mountain Science Center, the BMW Zentrum Museum in Greer, and Heritage Park Amphitheatre in Simpsonville, home of the annual Freedom Weekend Aloft hot air balloon festival.
