Century Mini & "Mini Takes the States"
Mini Takes the States is an event that takes place every two years and brings Mini Cooper enthusiasts from all over the United States together in one location. The Mini lovers start out in their respective states and join other Mini Cooper owners along the route to meet in Denver Colorado. There are many scheduled stops along the route for these owners to get together and enjoy their cars and to mingle with other Mini Cooper owners. In this video Stan Ashemore, the sales manager for Century Mini, introduces viewers to the brand new Century BMW facility located at 2930 Laurens Road, Greenville SC. This is the new $12 million home for Century BMW and Century Mini. Also in this video is the event put on by Century Mini for their loyal customers and Mini Cooper lovers in the Upstate of South Carolina. The event takes place at the BMW Zentrum and the Performance Centers in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Mini owners, en route to Denver, met at the Zentrum Center at the BMW facility for a self-guided tour of the museum and a free flow driving experience at the BMW Performance Center. At the Performance Center, Drivers participated in many different courses in the BMW M3 and 335. Also, the mini owners each participated in a Hot-Lap around the performance track in a professionally drive BMW M5. After the festivities at the BMW Performance center the Mini owners continued their cross-country drive to Denver, Colorado for a 3-day event focused on the Mini-Cooper. For more information visit
