Betty J. Scheiner has been an interior designer in the Greenville, South Carolina area for nine years, with many area residents likely having seen the work of Scheiner & Co. Interiors at designer show homes sponsored by the Greenville Symphony and others over the years. In this video, Betty takes viewers on a tour of a Greenville area residence where she talks about several of the interior design features she used when planning and executing the design of the home’s interior. Some of those features include lighting that matches the scale and proportion of various rooms, painted ceilings, a bound Sisal runner on the staircase, and painting of the backside of built-in bookcases for better contrast. Betty also explains the process when she begins working with clients who are considering interior design projects for their homes.
