South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

The South Carolina Hispanic Chamber of Commerce promotes and supports the advancement of the economic growth of Hispanic businesses in South Carolina and is an affiliate of the US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Based in Greenville County SC, the organization develops programs and facilitates the resources needed to help Hispanic businesses throughout the state of South Carolina grow and reach their full potential. The SC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce offers seminars, networking meetings and special events designed to help start, grown and expand businesses. In this video, viewers meet Evelyn Lugo, president of the SC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, during the organization’s first annual SC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Corporate Gala held November 21, 2009 at the Hilton Hotel in Greenville, SC. Viewers also hear from Ben Haskew, president of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce, SC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Director Gustavo Neves and board member Frederick Sinclair about the important role the organization plays in educating Hispanic and non-Hispanic businesses, and serving as a bridge between community leaders, different cultures, and the community at large.
