The Global Trading Consortium

The Global Trading Consortium (GTC) is a business incubator in Greenville, South Carolina that provides market entry office and warehouse space for international companies seeking to expand their presence in the United States or enter the U.S. market. The Global Trading Consortium also is a Foreign Trade Zone, the only Foreign Trade Zone in Greenville County. In this video, Bill Coleman, a member of the board of directors, talks about the Global Trading Consortium's mission to promote international trade. The GTC connects buyers and sellers around the world via the Global Trading Consortium, a worldwide network of organizations and individuals cooperating to build trading relationships. The GTC also has partnered with many worldwide trade centers in China, the Pacific Rim, Europe and South America to create more efficient global trading initiatives. Coleman also explains the Global Trading Consortium's role in economic development in Greenville County. The GTC is creating American jobs by assisting foreign companies in bringing manufacturing and assembly operations to the United States. The Global Trading Consortium is located at Global Trade Park, a master-planned business park located along Interstate 85 in Greenville, South Carolina, Just one-half mile from Clemson University's International Center for Automotive Research (ICAR). The Park has office space, meeting and training rooms with video conferencing, and an exhibit hall. There also is available property to construct new facilities as companies expand.
