Salsa Greenville SC offers lessons, workshops and events that teach the universal dance of Salsa. This dance and networking organization offers newcomers and longtime residents of the Greenville area opportunities to meet new people and make new friends. Salsa night is held every Thursday evening at Bongos, with an introductory lesson held at 8:30 pm, followed by open dance at 9:30 pm. The fee for the beginners class is only five dollars. Salsa originated in the streets of Puerto Rico and is considered a social dance. Salsa dancers are encouraged to change dance partners frequently so no partner is required for the lessons, Susan explains.
