From street festivals on Main Street to a consumer show at the Carolina First Center, Greenville, South Carolina has an event to match every passion and pursuit.

For music lovers, Thursday's Downtown Alive at Piazza Bergamo downtown and Friday's Main Street Jazz outside the Hyatt Regency Greenville are the place to be from spring until fall. Add to that the 17-week Larkin's Rhythm On The River series on Thursday nights for beach music and shag lovers and the music genre is complete. Rhythm On The River is held at the Dow Amphitheater behind The Peace Center for the Performing Arts on South Main Street.

Greenville also hosts many annual events including a full range of running and bike races, public shows, and arts festivals.

Artisphere, a three-day outdoor street festival that celebrates the visual and performing arts is held each May. Fall For Greenville, a three-day event featuring almost 50 Greenville restaurants and live musical entertainment on four stages, is held each October in the heart of downtown Greenville.

For show goers, the Carolina First Center in Greenville hosts the annual Southern Home & Garden Show, the largest show of its kind in South Carolina and one of the largest home shows in the Southeast, each March. The Center also hosts wedding shows, boat and RV shows, gun and knife shows and car shows, as well as conferences and private trade shows.
