Beach Bob Oldies Show
The
Beach Bob Oldies Show is an old style, live radio show that airs Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on WOLT-FM 103.3. There are no bosses, consultants or play lists. Hosted by Beach Bob Ross and his most able co-host, Kathy Cole, The Beach Bob Oldies Show is fun, unscripted, unrehearsed free form music from the 1950's and 1960's and of course, Carolina Beach Music. In this video, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look inside The Beach Bob Oldies Show studio. It is Girl Tuesday on WOLT-FM 103.3 as Beach Bob and Kathy Cole take requests and talk about the fun and success they have playing the Best Music In The World For The Best People In The World. Beach Bob and Kathy Cole talk passionately about keeping the Carolina beach and shag music they love alive for generations to come, and about the 2009 Larkins Rhythm On The River series that brings the bands played on The Beach Bob Oldies Show to Greenville for live performances on Thursday nights from May until September. The 2009 Rhythm On The River series kicks off May 14 with The Embers, and features a 17-week lineup that includes The Tams, The Flashbacks, The Fantastic Shakers, The Out Of Towners, Jim Quick & Coastline and many others. Hosted each week by Beach Bob Ross and Kathy Cole,
Rhythm On The River is held at the Dow Amphitheater behind
The Peace Center in downtown Greenville.
