South Carolina Institute for Vocal Training
Former Motown recording artist Robert Hoefer founded the South Carolina Institute for Vocal Training in 2006 to improve the arts in the Upstate region of South Carolina and to pass along some of the valuable lessons he learned as a professional musician. In addition to vocal training, Coach Hoefer teaches the art of stage performing helping students with goal setting, time management, wardrobe and all other factors needed to succeed in the music business. In this video, Hoefer talks about the local performance opportunities he makes available to his students through the South Carolina Institute for Vocal Training and Pitch Doctors, LLC. Viewers see students on stage at the Invention Convention held at the BI-LO Center in Greenville, South Carolina and a Sunday performance at Triune Mercy Center in Greenville. The South Carolina Institute for Vocal Training and Pitch Doctors, LLC also sponsor country music competitions, and seek performance opportunities for students on the stages of local theatres, in jazz venues and in area churches. The South Carolina Institute for Vocal Training offers individual and group classes for children, youth and adults. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.
