The Jocassee Club
The Jocassee Club is a shared ownership residence built on Lake Jocassee in Salem, South Carolina. Often called the Lake Tahoe of the East, Lake Jocassee is one of South Carolina’s most pristine and cherished lakes with 75 miles of shoreline fed by multiple clean rivers and surrounded by Jocassee Gorges. Frequented by travelers who boat, hike and fish, Lake Jocassee has only a handful of homes built along the lake, with the remaining thousands of acres surrounding Lake Jocassee being state-protected wilderness that cannot be disturbed. In this video, Bill Masters talks about building The Jocassee Club for beautiful mountain and lake living, and to create a legacy home that will allow the luxury residence to be enjoyed by generations to come. The Jocassee Club is not a timeshare, rather an equity based Private Residence Club that includes four lodges and four cottages that are crafted into a beautiful mountain-lake setting and shared between a limited number of families. Investors receive a property deed, which conveys and guarantees ownership and usage rights for future generations. Masters tells viewers about the features of
The Jocassee Club such as an on-site caretaker, gourmet kitchens and its high-tech entertainment center. Other features include: underground wine cellar; motorized incline elevator to aid in traveling from the lake and docks to the residence; indoor and outdoor fireplaces and spaces; boat program with concierge service; and outdoor chess, miniature golf, horseshoes, swings, paths and overlooks.
