Devereaux's Celebrity Chef

In this video, Devereaux's Executive Chef Steven Devereaux Greene welcomes guest Chef Tre Wilcox to his kitchen in downtown Greenville, South Carolina where they prepare a special meal for some lucky Greenville residents. A private chef from Dallas, Texas, Wilcox has been featured on Top Chef on the Bravo network. Wilcox began his culinary career at the age of 17 when he started working at several fast food restaurants and landed a position at Eatz's in Dallas. Most recently, Wilcox was Chef de Cuisine at Abacus, a four-star Dallas restaurant. Viewers go behind the scenes as Greene, Wilcox and the staff at Devereaux's prepare a collaborative menu that includes seared big eye tuna, chilled English cucumber soup, pork and scallops, boneless lamb loin and Carolina peach shortcake. Located in the heart of downtown Greenville on East Court Street, Devereaux's is housed in a century-old cigar factory that has been transformed into a first-class restaurant. The contemporary American menu features French, Asian and Southern influence dishes that are often described as culinary masterpieces. Greene and his team at Devereaux's work in an open-air kitchen, allowing the guests to watch their culinary skills.
