Scratch was established for people constantly on the go. Scratch prepares meals with fresh ingredients, nutritional balance and gourmet flavor that are convenient, pre-portioned and affordable enough to enjoy on a regular basis. The Scratch concept is to give customers convenient and nutritional meals, using no preservatives or flavor short cuts, fresh meats and as much local produce as possible. Servings low in saturated fats and high in fiber, are purposely designed to deliver nutritional balance. Also in this video, Scratch Marketing Manager Mark Martin gives viewers a glimpse of the Scratch Market, which features wines, locally made beer, and homemade cookies. Online ordering is the core of Scratch's business. Customers place an order online, click the day they need the meal, and orders are prepared and delivered that day in a cooler bag to the residence or office. Meals are prepared and packaged chilled rather than frozen, with meals lasting up to six days refrigerated after delivery. Scratch delivers to ZIP codes: 29601, 29605, 29607, 29609, 29615, 29650 and 29662. Orders placed by 11 p.m. will be delivered after 3 p.m. the next business day (M-F). Scratch offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, including salads, side dishes, Kids meals and desserts. Scratch business hours are 10:30 am until 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.
