Pace Jewelers

A mainstay in West Greenville, Pace Jewelers has been open at 1250 Pendleton Street for more than 60 years. In this video, second-generation owner Steve Pace talks about the vibrancy of West Greenville when area textile mills were humming, the decline of the community when most of the mills shut down, and today's revitalization efforts that are making West Greenville a focal point for the Greenville arts community. Steve also displays some of Pace Jewelers' exclusive product lines such as Parker High School charms, money clips and watches that were created as a remembrance and tribute to the Greenville County high school that graduated more than 22,000 Golden Tornados and employed more than 1,300 faculty members during its 64 years. Pace Jewelers has commissioned custom-made men's and women's watches that feature the Parker High School auditorium on its faces.
