Smoke on the Water,’A Saucy Southern Tavern’, offering Southern comfort food, is located in the Historic West End District of Greenville, South Carolina. Smoke on the Water offers their delightful menu and food in an upscale tavern atmosphere. In this video, Smoke on the Water Chef Kevin Lucas serves up the downtown Greenville restaurant’s Thursday lunch special, Shrimp & Grits, prepared with sauteed shrimp, crispy bacon, leeks, and red peppers served over cheesy, stone-ground grits. Known for such smoked specialties as prime rib, beef brisket, baby back ribs and pulled pork, Smoke on the Water’s most popular dish is its homemade squash casserole. The downtown Greenville restaurant also has one of the city’s more popular Happy Hours from 4-7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The restaurant’s full bar features four private label wines from Schug Winery in Sonoma, CA and two specially brewed beers from local brewer Thomas Creek. Located in the Historic West End Market at the corner of South Main and Augusta Streets in downtown Greenville, Smoke on the Water offers indoor and outdoor dining, and live music several days each week on its outdoor patio. Smoke on the Water is open Sunday through Wednesday from 11:30 am until 9 pm, Thursday from 11:30 am until 1 am, and Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am until 10 pm.
