The CRUNCH, playing everything from classic rock, funk, and blues, is a local cover band in Greenville, South Carolina. The band is made up of Jeff Walls on guitar and vocals, Dave Summerville on drums and vocals, Hunt Gaulden on bass guitar and vocals, Ash Young on guitar and vocals, Jules Childers on keys and lead vocals, Allyson Cox on sax and vocals, David Galloway on sax, and Andy Welchel on keyboards. The CRUNCH got its name from a loud guitar that Jeff Walls appropriately named “Captain Crunch.” In this video you meet Dave Summerville and Jules Childers, two of the band members as they share their love for music and entertainment. Dave and Jules both share how much they enjoy singing the songs they grew up with and would have never had the chance to play or sing them otherwise.
