Located in Greenville, South Carolina, The Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) is an advanced-technology research campus where academia, industry and government organizations engage in synergistic collaboration. Students here study Automotive Design and Development, Manufacturing, Automotive Systems Integration, and Vehicle Electronic Systems Integration. The CU-ICAR Campus is located in Greenville, SC. The development represents a strategically focused automotive and motorsports research campus. The campus is broken down into five technology neighborhoods, each designed uniquely for optimizing an innovative and collaborative environment. One of the neighborhoods is home to the BMW Group Information Technology Research Center. This is the only other research center for BMW outside of Munich, Germany. This video gives viewers an inside look at the university’s students and faculty and how they work together with the private sector to help bring innovation and knowledge based environment.
