Proterra, a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced energy storage systems, will soon call Greenville, South Carolina home. The Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research –CU-ICAR-has been chosen as the site that will bring this revolutionary transportation company to Greenville, South Carolina. An innovator of clean commercial transit solutions, Proterra has essentially redesigned the transportation industry by combining innovation and imagination to produce the first “zero emission, fast-charge, battery-electric bus”.
